We believe that every child is a miracle.
We seek to celebrate childhood each day through "hands on" activities that will instill a love of learning and a respect for the natural environment that will encourage children to wonder, discover, love, and grow!

We seek to celebrate childhood each day through "hands on" activities that will instill a love of learning and a respect for the natural environment that will encourage children to wonder, discover, love, and grow!

THE FAIRGREEN PRESCHOOL fulfills its mission by providing a developmentally appropriate process-oriented early childhood education to 3,4, and 5 year olds in our community.
GOALS AND PHILOSOPHIES
We believe that children are individuals with unique personalities. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the whole child, A child learns more readily from actual experiences. We celebrate childhood through:
THE TEACHING STAFF
The quality of education at Fairgreen Preschool is directly related to the excellence of the teaching staff.
The teachers at Fairgreen are warm and affectionate. They are patient and understanding with enough flexibility to handle any situation with ease. Collectively, they have several years of experience in working with young children and possess knowledge of a child's growth and development.
These women add varying insights and ideas blending harmoniously with our established staff, the preschool's core philosophies and our long standing methods. All of the teachers at Fairgreen are required to continue their professional education through reading, workshops, and conferences.
GUIDANCE AND MANAGEMENT POLICY
The staff at Fairgreen uses a positive approach to discipline. Good behavior is complimented with praise, hugs, and encouragement. The teacher is fair and firm. The "good manners chair" is rarely used. Physical punishment is not acceptable.
